Automated tools (when used appropriately) significantly improve the quality of products and can considerably shorten development timelines!

Ashton Systems has accumulated a large collection of tools to help deliver our projects in a more effective and more efficient manner. Our tools framework has grown into a suite of 'best in class' commercial tools and open-source and 'home-grown' utilities:

• FPGA/ASIC design & IP generation tools which:
  • Automate and standardize the generation of design & associated code (RTL, Verilog, VHDL, C, etc.)
  • Document inputs, outputs, modules, registers & fields (and produce nicely formatted HTML documentation)
  • Generate of test cases & facilitate simulation and verification of product performance
• Symbollic & schematic capture tools for PCB design
• Automated test environment infrastructure
